Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our team on an ongoing supply basis.

This role is ideal for a passionate educator keen to positively impact students' learning experiences in a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will also be required to teach some KS3 Biology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
2. Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
3. Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and the highest standards of teaching across the department.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry.
3. Excellent classroom management skills.
4. Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
5. Flexibility and adaptability to work on a daily supply basis.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
