About the Role:

The Early Years Sufficiency and Business Support team at Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Business Support Officer to ensure sufficient high-quality sustainable childcare provision across the county.

The successful candidate will support the Early Years Sufficiency & Business Manager in gathering and collating data and information reports, including weekly and termly reporting to the Department for Education, 2-year funding eligibility take-up monitoring and tracking, childcare sufficiency reporting, Ofsted monitoring and reporting, and place planning and 106 contribution information.

The ideal candidate will have excellent data analysis and manipulation skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain service levels. They will also possess a good level of literacy and numeracy, equivalent to Grade C or above in English and Maths, and a further academic or professional qualification in an area such as Business Administration or Finance.

The Early Years Sufficiency and Business Support team is committed to providing high-quality support to childcare providers across Gloucestershire. The team works closely with providers to ensure they have the necessary resources and information to deliver high-quality childcare services.
