Secured Lending Strategist

Marsden Building Society is seeking a strategic lending professional to lead our mortgage lifecycle from onboarding to customer retention. As the Secured Lending Strategist, you will oversee first line underwriting assessment, manage the pipeline, and drive process improvement.

• Develop and implement lending strategies to support niche lending activity and complex solutions
• Work closely with the management team to translate business plan objectives into a lending operations plan
• Ensure that all mortgage applications are thoroughly evaluated and underwritten, while maintaining regulatory compliance

• 5+ years of experience in standard and niche secured mortgage markets
• Proven track record of leading lending teams and driving business growth
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A highly competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
