City Building, a highly successful and evolving business, is seeking a talented individual to join its Design Team as a Trainee Kitchen Designer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in kitchen design and a passion for product development.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent technical ability, and the drive to learn and adapt to new skills and technology. They will be responsible for reading architects' plans, extracting relevant information, and designing and pricing kitchen layouts to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Extracting information from architects' plans to design and price kitchen layouts.
  2. Managing contracts and communicating effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and architects.
  3. Using CAD-based software to create kitchen plans and 3D images.
  4. Staying up-to-date with new products and materials that can benefit the business.
  5. Excellent time management and planning skills to meet deadlines.
  6. Preparing reports, designs, quotes, and presentations as required.
  7. Collaborating with the design and development team on projects.
