About the Role:

As a key member of our Corporate Tax team, you will be responsible for advising clients on R&D tax incentives, from start-ups to multinational corporations. You will lead the preparation and submission of R&D tax claims, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify qualifying R&D activities and maximise tax reliefs. Additionally, you will support the wider Corporate Tax team with R&D-related advice, leveraging your broader tax knowledge. Your expertise will be essential in managing client relationships, providing expert guidance on R&D tax strategy and planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on R&D tax incentives
  • Lead the preparation and submission of R&D tax claims
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify qualifying R&D activities
  • Support the wider Corporate Tax team with R&D-related advice
  • Manage client relationships and provide expert guidance on R&D tax strategy and planning

Requirements:
  • ATT/ACA/CTA qualified with a strong background in R&D tax or corporate tax
  • At least three years relevant experience in either the profession or as R&D tax advisory specialists
  • Experience across a range of sectors
  • An appreciation of both the technical and financial aspects of claims
  • A willingness to further their understanding of technical Corporation Tax aspects
  • An aptitude for business development
