Job Summary

Michael Page (UK) seeks a Supply Chain Leadership Position for our logistics operations team. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will oversee the management of transport control towers, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, logistics process knowledge, and customer management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the transport control tower.
• Implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency, driving business growth and success.
• Conduct contract performance meetings with customers, maintaining strong relationships and driving business development.
• Coordinate logistics processes, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
• Manage staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing strategic solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A degree in logistics, business, or a related field or industry-related qualifications.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating a large team of transport specialists.
• Excellent knowledge of logistics processes and industry standards, with the ability to drive business growth and success.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and propose strategic solutions.

• A competitive salary of approximately £55,000-£60,000 per year.
