About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks in a commercial building setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems
  • Perform maintenance tasks on AHUs/FCUs, including filter changes, belt changes, and actuator changes
  • Carry out PPMs and strip downs on pumps, including replacing seals, bearings, and valves
  • Perform maintenance tasks on motors, including re-winds and overhauls
  • Conduct water treatment tasks, including dipslides, pH and temperature testing, chlorination, and chemical dosing
  • Perform maintenance tasks on water pressurization units, chlorifiers, and steam plant
  • Conduct maintenance tasks on condensers, condenser returns, cooling towers, softeners, humidifiers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and boilers
  • Perform 1st Line faults on chillers
Requirements
  • City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in Mechanical and Plumbing
  • NVQ in Mechanical and Plumbing
  • Trade certificates
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Understanding of L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
Working Hours and Contract Details

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
