Our client, a respected accountancy firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Professional to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services, and offering strategic financial guidance to help clients achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, offering comprehensive accounting services.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and management reports.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to help clients achieve their business goals.
  • Handle corporation tax computations, allowances, and property tax matters.
  • Manage Quarterly VAT returns.
  • Manage year-end accounts and VAT filings, ensuring month-end deadlines are met.
  • Develop and analyse financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
  • Produce management accounts and reports using Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and Excel.
  • Workflow Management, overseeing and supporting junior members of the team.
  • Client Interaction and Onboarding, maintaining customer relations.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or Qualified by Experience in Practice.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or supervisory role in an accountancy practice.
  • Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, and/or Sage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Supervisory leadership abilities.
