We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Winchester, a Category B male prison. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients and making a real difference in their lives.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working on rotational shifts, including weekends. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides a range of healthcare services to patients in a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include providing outstanding quality-based care, delivering personalized care packages, and supporting the nursing and pharmacy teams.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant who holds a NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent. You should have a non-judgmental and compassionate approach, be able to evidence your Continued Professional Development (CPD), and have experience working in a residential setting, hospital, community, or domiciliary environment.
