About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on light and heavy goods vehicles, including inspections, diagnostic testing, and repair procedures.
  • Use personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
  • Work on a flexible shift rota, including rotating shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

  • Qualified mechanic with IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
  • Varied vehicle experience, including LCV/HGV.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • High working standards and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
