Rugby is the location of this exciting opportunity, with immediate start dates available. A minimum of 6 months' experience in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for trailer movements, inter-site movements, and yard control. We offer a range of shift patterns, including fixed ongoing working patterns, with opportunities for overtime and extra shifts.

Our pay rates are competitive, with the following breakdown:

  • Monday to Thursday (Days): £18.49
  • Monday to Thursday (Nights): £20.84
  • Friday (Days): £19.56
  • Friday (Nights): £21.64
  • Saturday (Days): £19.90
  • Saturday (Nights): £23.03
  • Sunday (Days): £23.03
  • Sunday (Nights): £24.24

A special Christmas rate applies from November 17th to December 14th:

  • Monday to Thursday (Days): £20.73
  • Monday to Thursday (Nights): £23.08
  • Friday (Days): £21.88
  • Friday (Nights): £23.88
  • Saturday (Days): £22.14
  • Saturday (Nights): £25.27
  • Sunday (Days): £25.27
  • Sunday (Nights): £26.48

We also offer flexible shift start times, including:

  • 06:00 - 14:00
  • 14:00 - 22:00
  • 22:00 - 06:00

Available rota options include Sunday to Thursday, Tuesday to Saturday, and Monday to Friday.

As an HGV driver with H&G Recruitment Solutions, you can expect:

  • Regular work and job security

In terms of annual earnings, you can expect to earn a minimum of:

  • £48,074 on days, based on a 50-hour week and working 6 days a week
  • £57,680 on nights, based on a 50-hour week and working 6 days a week

To be eligible for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid HGV C+E Class 1 license
  • At least 6 months' experience in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
  • A full HGV C+E license with no more than six points for minor endorsements
  • Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
  • A customer-focused attitude
