Job Title: Science Educator

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Educator to join our team at a leading Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group in Westbury. As a Science Educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated science lessons to students with varying abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to ensure students receive the best possible education.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.
  • Assess and track student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for our students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a SEN school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and the ability to adapt it to meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting students with SEN.
