Deliver exceptional healthcare services and support to military families around the world. As a Beneficiary Services Representative at Leidos, you will play a vital role in providing education and enrollment services for the TRICARE Overseas Program under the Defense Health Agency.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Beneficiary Services Representative, you will be responsible for verifying benefits eligibility and processing enrollments, disenrollments, and portability transfers using various computer systems.

You will also register TRICARE beneficiaries in the MHS Genesis system, perform Primary Care Manager changes, and provide education on resources and benefits, as well as customer service to beneficiaries on the phone and in person.

Responsibilities
  • Verify benefits eligibility and process enrollments, disenrollments, portability transfers, and more using the Defense Online Enrollment System, Customer Relationship Manager systems, etc.
  • Register TRICARE beneficiaries in the MHS Genesis system
  • Perform Primary Care Manager changes, following the Military Treatment Facility guidelines
  • Provide education on resources and benefits, enrollment/disenrollment information, and customer service to beneficiaries on the phone and in person
  • Collect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information for active-duty and active-duty family member portability/disenrollment processes
  • Conduct briefings for In Processing, Out Processing, Maternity, pre-separation/retirement and others
  • Provide basic claims assistance such as providing information on the status of claims
  • Collect and record other Health Information into applicable systems
  • Assess the appropriate assistance level needed and refer or escalate as needed to address the issue at hand
  • Collect and report information on daily activities performed
  • Complete on a timely basis and comply with HIPAA regulations, Leidos, and other training and refresher courses
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health Information
  • Provide remote support to Leidos BSRs at other sites
  • Provide shadow support to new BSRs as needed
Requirements

We are seeking highly motivated and organized individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Must be SOFA/Command Sponsored as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee or US Contractor supporting the DoD
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Be eligible for and maintain ADP IT/III clearance access level
  • Three years' cumulative experience in the following areas:
  • Experience in U.S. military healthcare delivery system or civilian managed care medical/administrative environment
  • Experience in a medical or clinical environment
  • Experience with MHS Genesis or civilian healthcare computer system and in processing medical claims
  • Experience in a customer service environment
