Product Support Lead Engineer, Amazon Prime Air

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Support Organization Lead Engineer to join Amazon Prime Air in London. As a key contributor to high drone service availability in the UK/EU region, you will play a critical role in driving a delightful customer experience. Your expertise will help drive regional feedback back to HQ teams for incorporation into further technology iterations.

  1. Provide technical support for regional issues surrounding Prime Air developed Drone Systems as the first point of contact.
  2. Prioritize and facilitate technology deployment to regional delivery sites.
  3. Collaborate with HQ development engineering to identify continuous service improvement opportunities.
  4. Support regulatory site visits, audits, and product demonstrations.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  2. Experience working in design, product (technical or operational) support, or field service.
  3. Experience with project planning and prioritization of requests.
  4. Experience working on aerospace products/projects or in regulated fields like healthcare or automotive.
  5. Experience with troubleshooting, trend analysis, and RCCA (root cause and corrective action).
  6. Experience building and leading teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  2. Experience with quality systems.
  3. Experience with change management and technology deployment.
