We are recruiting for a permanent Classroom Support Specialist to join our team at Aspire People. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role as a cover supervisor in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire.

Job Description
  • Supervise the whole class during short-term absences of class teachers under the guidance of teaching/senior staff.
  • Deliver pre-prepared exercises and assist students in relevant activities in line with school policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have valuable experience covering lessons of various subjects at KS3 and KS4 level and be qualified to degree level. A passion for working with children is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To supervise classes effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
  2. To work closely with teaching staff to deliver educational programs and activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualification to degree level or equivalent qualifications that allow you to be placed in schools in the position requested.
  • A passion for working and supporting children's learning.
  • Strong communication skills that can be demonstrated by an ability to build relationships with other professionals.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
