Role Overview

We are partnering with an educational organisation to find a Therapeutic Tutor who can support their students in the community. The successful candidate will work one-to-one or with small groups, helping students access their curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flexible approach to travel, visiting students in different locations
  • Regular travel to the central school hub for training and team meetings
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years experience working with young people in SEMH education settings
  • Experience working with hard-to-reach students with SEMH/ACE's/ASC/Sensory & communication difficulties
  • 'Trauma-informed' with teaching, mentoring, coaching background and understanding of Therapeutic Education
  • Ability to build strong relationships, maintain professional boundaries and be resilient, solution-focused and reflective

Travel expenses during work hours and lunch with students will be reimbursed. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and will support a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
