Senior Finance Leadership Opportunity

Altus Partners is partnering with a Private Equity-backed Retail business to appoint a seasoned Finance Director/CFO to strengthen their Senior Leadership Team.

This critical role will report directly to the CEO of the UK business and play a pivotal part in the company's value creation plan, with an expected exit within the next 2-3 years.

The Role

The Finance Director/CFO will be a hands-on finance leader, providing key commercial and strategic support to the UK CEO, Sales & Marketing Director, and Procurement Lead.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting directly to the UK CEO, taking full ownership of the commercial finance function.
  • Developing and maintaining internal financial reporting, management information, and commercial dashboards.
  • Attending strategic meetings, providing valuable insights and commercial direction.
  • Business planning and financial modeling.
  • Internal point of contact for the outsourced accounting function.
  • Promoting the development and utilization of internal reporting and Power BI.

Requirements include:

  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO, with a track record of positively impacting business performance.
  • Private Equity experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
  • Hybrid/flexible working is available, with a requirement to be on-site in Birmingham around 3-4 days per week.
