About the Role:

Thomson Reuters, a leading provider of answers across law, tax, compliance, government and media, is seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join their Practical Law Corporate team in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience as a corporate lawyer in England & Wales, with a demonstrable interest and ability in writing. They will possess in-depth knowledge of corporate law and extensive experience in advising on corporate matters.

This Senior Specialist Legal Editor position involves analysing the latest corporate law developments, creating and maintaining high-quality content, and engaging with external customers and industry experts to maintain understanding of trends and pressures in corporate law and practice.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a supportive team of experienced colleagues, dealing with a breadth of interesting legal and editorial work, including commissioning, reviewing and editing content, and assisting with marketing the Practical Law Corporate practice area.

In this role, you will use your specialist legal knowledge to provide and maintain a wide range of Practical Law content, spanning various formats, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing the latest corporate law developments to inform content creation and maintenance
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement content strategies
  • Engaging with external customers and industry experts to stay up-to-date on trends and pressures in corporate law and practice
  • Assisting with marketing efforts to promote the Practical Law Corporate practice area
  • Liaising with sales, marketing, product management, technology and segment functions to drive business objectives
