Geography Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage young minds, fostering a love for geography and supporting students in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the national curriculum.
2. Inspire curiosity and a passion for global issues, environmental awareness, and geographical knowledge.
3. Plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to cater to the varying abilities of students.
4. Contribute to the wider school community and support extra-curricular activities where applicable.
5. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, ensuring all students can achieve their potential.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong understanding of the geography curriculum.
2. Experience teaching geography at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
3. Passion for teaching and a commitment to student progress and achievement.
4. Strong communication and organisational skills, with a flexible and proactive approach.
