Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding career? Vida Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors in local secondary schools across Preston and the surrounding areas.
About the RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work to pupils aged 11-16 in the absence of the permanent class teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure pupils stay on task in a safe and effective learning environment
- Deliver tailored teaching activities to classes of secondary school aged pupils
- Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils' progress
- Be flexible to help with extracurricular activities and support outside of normal classes
To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident in managing challenging behaviour and have excellent communication skills. You will also need to be flexible and able to work well under pressure.
