Penguin Recruitment is representing a leading acoustics consultancy with extensive experience in providing high-quality services across construction, infrastructure, and environmental acoustics projects.
This consultancy is rapidly expanding into a multidisciplinary consultancy, adding capabilities in sustainability and air quality. They pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service, clear technical advice, and a challenging, rewarding environment for their growing team.
Due to high demand for their services, the team requires Graduate Acoustics Consultants to join their busy office in Bedford. The ideal candidate will have a degree in acoustics or a closely related engineering subject, such as Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Music Technology. A strong driver's licence and own car are necessary, although applications are accepted from candidates due to obtain their licence shortly.
Upon joining the team, you will gain a fast insight into the world of acoustic consultancy, with responsibilities in site and desk duties such as noise measurement surveys, sound insulation testing, 3D noise modelling, and report preparation. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of developments, including rural, urban, and industrial environments across the UK.
As you progress, you will be able to manage projects from start to finish, working alongside some of the UK's most respected architects, developers, engineers, and construction teams. Their client is involved in the acoustic design of some of the UK's most high-profile construction projects, including Europe's tallest residential building.
