About the Role

We are seeking a highly specialized pediatric physiotherapist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our pediatric therapy team, you will be responsible for providing specialist physiotherapy input and developing pathways in various areas, including musculoskeletal, respiratory, orthopedic, neurology, and neonates.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage inpatients with respiratory, orthopedic, trauma, rheumatology, developmental, and neurology conditions requiring physiotherapy aged 0-17 years.
  • Develop and implement pathways for pediatric physiotherapy input.
  • Lead and develop band 6 rotational staff at Newham University Hospital.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of inpatient and outpatient caseloads at Newham.
  • Work closely with the rest of the pediatric and adult therapy teams.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Experience of management/supervision of staff.
  • Operational management experience in a complex environment.
  • Experience of leading and implementing service improvement projects.
