Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Allan Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Paying invoices and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments
  • Enter invoices onto the computer system and maintain accurate records
  • Run payments and process BACS payments
  • Deal with statement reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies
  • Deal with account inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Code and enter all company credit card expenses, cheque requests, petty cash and expense claims
  • Perform other ad-hoc administration duties as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential
  • User of Microsoft Office programs
