About the Job

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Academic Early Years Teaching Assistant in North Yorkshire, Harrogate. This role offers the chance to work with young children in a supportive and inclusive educational setting, promoting their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the EYFS teacher in planning and implementing engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Assist with record-keeping and monitoring children's progress, ensuring they receive the necessary support to excel academically.
  • Provide individualized support to children with additional needs, including those who require extra attention and resources.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education is required for this role.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for all applicants.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting would be beneficial.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework will help you make a positive impact in this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective collaboration with colleagues and parents.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team will enable you to contribute to a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education will provide you with advanced knowledge and skills in this field.
  • First Aid certification will enhance your skills in providing emergency care and support.
Estimated Salary:

£12.00 per hour.
