Lounge Bartender Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lounge Bartender to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a Lounge Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Meet and greet lounge customers, offering them the highest level of hospitality during their visit.
  • Bar Operations: Maintain the opening and closing of the bar for each shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Beverage Service: Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including coffees, cocktails, and mixed drinks.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the coffee machines.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the food and beverage products offered in the lounge.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate records of bar stock and control documentation.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the entire bar area, including the floor, counters, and cupboards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of bartending experience.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Great team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to work fast under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and ensuring a high level of quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Communication: Confident and effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and colleagues.
  • Availability: Flexibility in regards to work availability, with the ability to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Right to Work: Right to work in the UK.
