About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Asset Management and Technical Services team at RSE. As a key member of our Southern Water division, you will be responsible for controlling and managing all RSE activities on site, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Trade Operatives and Apprentices, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure all site activities adhere to Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring easy access and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Plan and organize work to ensure efficient and safe execution, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Conduct regular competence assessments, adhering to the company's specified timetable.
  • Set out work as required, ensuring accurate and precise execution.
  • Collaborate with trades operatives and contractors to discuss work-related matters and resolve any issues.
  • Liaise with other departmental sections and trades to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on contract progress and future resource requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience in the water sector is highly advantageous, but other industrial sectors, including civil engineering, will be considered.
  • Hold a relevant trade qualification, such as City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of supervisory experience.
  • Possess SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS certifications.
  • Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety practices and the ability to manage changing priorities on site.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
