We were first established in 1947 by Howard Hindson in Russell Street, Middlesbrough, and have since grown to become a leading provider of upholstery services in the region.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Craftsman to join our team and assist in the restoration and repair of a wide range of furniture pieces.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip down furniture to prepare for reupholstery
• Prepare and upholster items to a high standard
• Lead and carry out upholstery work in a busy workshop environment
• Follow instructions and workload issued by the Production Manager
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work environment at all times
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable and honest
• Punctual and able to work well under pressure
• Grades A*-C/9-4 in Maths and English
