About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Glenholme Bispham Gardens in Blackpool. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help residents with mobility and transfer activities
  • Administer medication and provide medical support as needed
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.50
  • Paid comprehensive training with industry-recognised qualifications
