Counterbalance Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Driver to join our team in Bardon Hill, Coalville. As a Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift truck and performing warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently
  • Take delivery of goods and supplies
  • Move stock around the warehouse using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
  • Locate and store goods appropriately
  • Operate and maintain large pieces of plant and equipment
  • Work with a close team to maximise line efficiency
  • Operate production lines to achieve efficiency targets
  • Check for damaged or missing items
  • Maintain an organised quarantine area for goods with quality issues
  • Pick production orders and off-the-shelf items
Requirements:
  • Valid Counterbalance Driver licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
