Are you an Automotive Interiors Engineer looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? About the Role:

As an Interiors Engineer with Expleo Engineering UK Limited, you will be responsible for leading the development of interior designs to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed cost reports and managing supplier relationships.
  • Investigating and resolving concerns related to interior development.
  • Communicating cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including Styling, Product Planning, and Purchase.
  • Lifecycle cost management and competitor benchmarking.
  • Managing and reporting costs versus budget and overseeing supplier timing plans.

Background and Experience:

We are seeking a degree-educated engineer with a relevant design or engineering qualification and previous experience in automotive interiors development. Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • Knowledge of interior cabin parts and modules.
  • Cost breakdown analysis skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Good communication and reporting skills to create decision analysis tables and matrices.
  • Competence in CAD interrogation and proficiency in Microsoft Office skills.
  • A valid driving license and ability to travel globally.
