SEND Assistant for Learning and Development

About the Job: Future Education is seeking an experienced SEND Assistant to join our team in Bexley, London.
">This rewarding role involves providing tailored support to students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and physical disabilities.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and hygiene.
- Administer medication in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Use hoisting equipment safely to transfer students with physical disabilities.
- Assist with personal care tasks while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Contribute to developing IEPs with the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified or experienced Support Worker with a passion for SEND support.
- An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Salary and Benefits: This role comes with a competitive salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
