About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our Cross Functional Inventory Team at our Hinckley facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our global IT systems to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement global enterprise systems, working closely with leadership to translate business strategy into actionable roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with IT and operational business functions to determine requirements, issues, and opportunities, while actively seeking engagement and eliminating silos.
  • Maintain thorough preventative maintenance and documentation, utilizing structured thinking tools and adhering to company standards.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis, Change Advisory Board, and other recurring business functions.
  • Provide thought leadership and technical expertise in the Microsoft Server space, offering professional guidance and hands-on assistance across all core services, security, cloud technology, and infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology, industry trends, and vendor strategies, ensuring cost-centric and value-driven solutions for the business.
  • Develop strong presentation and communication skills, presenting data, designs, and content in a professional manner to various stakeholders.
  • Work with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), building relationships, leveraging expertise, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, with senior-level expertise and demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Windows Server and Linux operating systems, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Mail Transport, and Microsoft Azure, Office 365.
  • Strong experience in PowerShell, BASH, defensive security, and multiple technology platforms, including virtualization, SDWAN, Citrix, and backup technologies.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues and solutions effectively.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
