Design Engineer Job Description

As a Design Engineer at MTD, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and developing temporary water infrastructure systems for various events and projects. Your primary focus will be on creating and adapting designs to meet customer needs, working closely with project managers, operations, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop temporary water infrastructure systems for client events and projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Create project calculations and planning documents
  • Ensure high-quality project drawings and material planning
  • Visit potential project locations to assess site conditions
  • Contribute to improvement projects within the team
Requirements:
  • Educational background in civil or mechanical engineering
  • 0-4 years of work experience as an engineer, technical planner, or mechanical/design engineer
  • Experience with CAD software is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork
  • Attention to detail, hands-on mentality, and creative thinking
