About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Generation Services Sales team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with generators.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop high-level strategic stakeholder relationships to deliver new business opportunities
• Prospect and secure Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs), and Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) to drive revenue growth
• Ensure accurate account data and maintain sustainable supply and value-add pipelines
• Develop and manage team territory plans to achieve business targets
• Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to build and enhance our reputation and generate new opportunities
• Deliver deals that are fully compliant and minimize rework
Requirements
• Proven track record of negotiating and securing complex energy deals
• Strong understanding of the UK energy market and skilled in development, negotiation, and execution of complex products and contractual and financial and credit management tools
• Commercial and technical competence with substantial experience gained in the energy industry
• Ability to manage multi-dimensional risk and drive complexities of new business development
