About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Stakeholder Engagement, Consultation and Communications team. As an Associate Director, you will lead consultation and engagement programmes for Development Consent Order projects, delivering effective communications and engaging with a wide range of audiences.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Developing a communications strategy and delivery plans for major infrastructure projects, including DCOs.
  • Managing communications channels, identifying and mapping key stakeholders, and establishing an engagement strategy.
  • Planning and delivery of events, ensuring safety and wellbeing of attendees, delivering logistics, and developing tailored materials.

As part of our national team, we support hybrid working, offering flexibility in terms of base location.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience leading communications and consultation activities on DCO projects.
  • A strong interest and experience in industry sectors relevant to our business (e.g. infrastructure, transport, energy, water, residential development, commercial development).
  • Proactive and ambitious, able to work well alone and in a team, bringing new ideas on engagement.
  • Great personal communication skills, culturally aware, and a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
