Job Title: Construction Planning Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planning Lead to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our project control group, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable project schedules using modern planning and scheduling principles, methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Collaborate with cost engineers, estimators, and planners to identify and mitigate potential delays or schedule risks.
  • Provide critical path analysis and what-if scenarios to support project teams in making informed decisions.
  • Analyze and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to optimize project delivery.
  • Develop and implement best practices for project controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in a project portfolio environment, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project controls, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop meaningful insights.
  • Possession of relevant degree in quantity surveying, engineering, or project management, or equivalent experience.
