Buzzacott's Expatriate Tax Team provides expert services to UK and US citizens and businesses operating abroad. We aim to minimize tax liabilities and maximize net earnings for our clients.

With approximately 75 staff members, including 14 partners and dual-qualified UK/US tax experts, we possess extensive knowledge of both tax systems. This expertise enables us to handle relocations ranging from solo workers to hundreds of employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate UK and US tax returns for expatriate clients, highlighting opportunities to reduce tax burdens.
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor portfolio performance, ensuring accountability for chargeable and non-chargeable hours, and projected billing.
  • Provide ad hoc advice to clients, consulting with senior colleagues when necessary.
  • Coordinate data collection and ensure timely completion of compliance work, adhering to strict filing deadlines.

Our comprehensive training program empowers new recruits to gain two prestigious qualifications within 36 months: the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) and the Enrolled Agent certification. These dual qualifications make you a highly sought-after professional in the Expat market.

Essential Qualifications
  • A graduate degree in any field.
  • A minimum of 120 UCAS Tariff points from top 3 A-levels or equivalent (300 using old tariff).
  • A minimum of Level 6 (B grade using old system) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
  • The ability to work in the UK without restrictions during the training contract.

Please note that General Studies is not accepted, and applications from part-qualified applicants are also excluded.

Our estimated annual salary range for this role is £28,000 - £40,000, based on location and individual performance.
