Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Estimator to support our business growth by providing accurate and detailed project costs and estimates. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers, architects, and sales and design teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed project costs and estimates, highlighting markups and ensuring accuracy
  • Support the sales function in pre-order design meetings, providing expert advice and guidance
  • Collate and prepare information for handover to the Design team(s), ensuring seamless project delivery
  • Triage and liaise with customers to clearly identify suitable solutions, meeting their needs and expectations

Requirements

  • Experience working in Design and Estimating functions with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience in CAD software such as Inventor and Autocad (2D/3D drafting), with a strong understanding of design principles
  • Working knowledge and application of Excel/Microsoft packages, with a focus on data analysis and reporting
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts
