We are seeking a passionate and patient individual to join our team as a Cook Volunteer at our supported living service in Surbiton. As a Cook Volunteer, you will play a vital role in helping our service users gain the cooking skills they need to live more independently.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for food and cooking with our service users. You will be responsible for preparing meals and snacks, as well as providing support and guidance to our service users as they learn new cooking skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals and snacks for our service users
  • Provide support and guidance to our service users as they learn new cooking skills
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth running of our kitchen
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about food and cooking, and have the ability to communicate effectively with our service users. You will also need to be punctual and reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.
