Job Overview

The European Foundation for Business Qualification (EFBQ) seeks a highly skilled Casual Educational Psychologist to provide exceptional support and consultation services to schools and colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and reviewing young people with Additional Needs, as well as providing expert advice on educational, psychological, social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role

This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong leadership skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality educational psychology services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, parents, carers, and families in diverse settings.

Key Responsibilities

• To assist the authority in identifying, assessing, and reviewing young people with Additional Needs.
• To provide consultation, advice, support, assessment, and intervention to schools and colleagues on the educational, psychological, social, emotional, and mental health needs of children and young people.
• To provide support on an ad-hoc but consistent basis, in line with the Local Authority's needs.

Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be required to work in an integrated practice framework, as part of Integrated Services for Learning. This will involve sessions with young people, parents, carers, and families in diverse settings, providing robust, reflective, informed, and inclusive educational psychology support.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role also offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and growth.
