About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Leeds Building Society. As a key member of our transformation programme, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering our new cloud enterprise integration platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the architecture and design of the new cloud platform
  • Work closely with architects, developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the platform meets business requirements and aligns with our strategic vision and principles
  • Provide guidance and support to delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring the platform is built according to best practices and standards

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale enterprise integration solutions using cloud technologies (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, protocols, standards, and technologies (such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, MQ, ESB, ETL, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance ideally within a financial services domain
  • Solid experience of working with agile methodologies (such as Scrum or Kanban) and DevOps tools (such as Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant certification or qualification in cloud architecture or integration (such as TOGAF or Azure Integration Architect)
