HKA Birmingham is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fire Engineer to join the team as part of the development of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in moving into forensic claims consultancy.

The Forensic Technical Services (FTS) team has grown in size and workload, presenting exciting opportunities for successful candidates working on projects in the UK and internationally from our Birmingham location.

We operate a flexible working pattern, both in terms of hours and location, and are happy with flexible remote working. For the right candidate, we are open to this person being based in any of our EMEA locations.

  • Providing support to the broader FTS team through knowledge and experience in Fire Engineering issues.
  • Working actively with colleagues in the Fire Engineering team to provide an integrated source of expert-level industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Technical analysis of projects in dispute.
  • Acting as support to the Expert Witness in Fire Engineering, as a discrete issue or as part of a multi-discipline expert team.
  • Supporting in an advisory capacity to legal teams and clients on Fire Engineering related issues.
  • Assisting colleagues in delivering high-quality deliverables by providing peer review input.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
