Reception Teacher Role

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement engaging learning activities for children in accordance with the National Curriculum.
  2. Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  3. Evaluate each child's progress and adapt the curriculum accordingly.
  4. Maintain accurate records of each student's development.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and senior staff members.
  6. Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development workshops.
  7. Ensure the health and safety of all students are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE and strong academic record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Reception Curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Experience working in a classroom setting.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other education professionals.
  • Passion and commitment to children's education.
