Senior Scientist - Environmental Fate Department

VRS UK is seeking an accomplished Scientist to join their growing Environmental Fate department. This state-of-the-art laboratory is well-equipped with the latest instrumentation to support challenging GLP regulated projects across the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences and at least 12 months experience within an Environmental Fate laboratory running OECD studies. Key responsibilities will include identifying and analysing radiochemicals (including 14C and 3H) within a variety of complex sample matrices, as well as performing extraction techniques such as SPE, LLE and QuEChERS.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences or closely related.
