About the Role

DS Smith is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Mercia Park. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be accountable for own and others health and safety whilst at work, operating in line with SSOW and company procedures.
  • To be responsible for operating the CAD table or assisting with manual operations, including machine feeding, take-off, and order picking.
  • To be responsible for driving MHE, including counterbalance, reach truck, and ride on pallet trucks.
  • To achieve set productivity and performance targets, ensuring consistent quality standards are met.
  • To help drive continuous improvement activities and perform quality checks on inbound materials.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a warehouse/production environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Forklift/Counterbalance Truck Licence.
  • Competent at dealing with problems and queries.
  • Able to work well independently and with your team.
