Production Engineers

At TQR, we are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering Team at our Plymouth site. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults in a timely manner using methodical problem-solving approaches. They will conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery and ancillaries as needed. Additionally, they will evaluate and adjust manufacturing equipment settings to ensure product quality meets established specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical faults in a timely manner.
- Conduct PPM and refurbish offline machinery and ancillaries.
- Evaluate and adjust manufacturing equipment settings.
Requirements:
- Proven engineering experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment.
- Certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with IT literacy and a process-driven approach.
Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a 32% shift premium for day shift and a 48% shift premium for night shift.
Working Hours: Successful candidates must work either a 3 on 3 off 12-hour day shift or a 3 on 3 off night shift, with shift premiums included in the salary.
