This business has experienced sustained growth and increased workload, leading to a need for a knowledgeable professional to collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver engineering designs for large and small projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project workload to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with a wider team to deliver items, develop solutions for sectional applications, and provide support for junior members
  • Design private drainage networks
  • Utilize Civils 3D, Micro Drainage, or PDS/Causeway flow software to handle design work
  • Prepare layouts using AutoCAD alongside technicians
  • Prepare documentation and FRAs to support planning applications
  • Review and approve designs done by others, as well as designing civil engineering schemes
  • Communicate with clients regarding the scope of the project
  • Undertake site surveys, inspections, and prepare reports
  • Prepare tenders and fee proposals
Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering degree or full/part chartered status
  • Significant post-graduate experience (at least 4 years)
  • Previous relevant experience in a comparable role handling design engineering responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving license
