The role of Pool Automation Maintenance Technician has become available with one of the UK's leading household names, based in Greater London. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to join their team as a multi-skilled maintenance technician.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of automation assets through effective maintenance procedures. This includes performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks. Additionally, the role involves continuous improvement activities, providing support to the engineering manager, and monitoring equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of automation assets through completion of effective maintenance procedures.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and improving automation outputs in collaboration with operational stakeholders.
  • Identifying and working on Continuous Improvement projects, conception to implementation ownership, for machinery in the Hub/ Mail Centre.

Requirements:

  • A minimum ONC Electrical Engineering or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
  • First-hand experience of maintaining automation equipment, ideally PLC.
  • The ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
  • A full UK driving license, as occasional travel to other sites may be required.

Salary Information:

The salary for this role is approximately £51,051 per annum, plus additional night shift allowance and weekend supplement payments where applicable.
