Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Manager to lead and shape our fundraising efforts. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to develop and implement innovative and transformative fundraising initiatives that will have a lasting impact on our organisation and the people we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with our organisational goals, ensuring a diverse and sustainable income base from multiple streams.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with current and prospective donors, keeping them engaged and informed about the impact of their support.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of high-impact fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are compelling and well-coordinated, with clear financial targets and strategic goals.
  • Lead the organisation of a range of fundraising events, designed to inspire engagement from the community and generate vital funds to support our work.
  • Take responsibility for preparing and managing the fundraising budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximising income generation.
  • Ensure that all fundraising activities adhere to relevant legislation and best practices, while also providing regular reports to senior management and trustees on fundraising performance and opportunities.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of fundraising, combined with the passion to lead a vital aspect of Vision Norfolk's work. You will be driven by results, with a strategic mind-set and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.

Essential skills and experience include:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a senior fundraising role, with a proven ability to develop and implement successful strategies across multiple income streams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in motivating and guiding teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors, corporate partners, and community supporters.
  • Proven experience in managing events, from concept to execution, and a track record of meeting income targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and the use of data to inform fundraising strategies.
  • Financial acumen, including experience in budget management and financial planning within a fundraising context.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,580 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience), a stakeholder pension scheme with Royal London, and a range of employee extras, including a Westfield Health Scheme and Canada Life Assurance.
