Procurement Specialist in ConstructionLocation: Co. AntrimSalary – up to £45,000 + benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a prominent construction contracting firm that is looking for a Procurement Specialist to enhance their accomplished team on a permanent full-time basis.

Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable position – experience in civil engineering or construction is essential
  • Skilled in using the Microsoft Office suite.
In collaboration with the commercial team on various projects, your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating the delivery of equipment and materials to designated site locations
  • Establishing relationships with new suppliers
  • Managing the processing and issuance of purchase orders
  • Conducting cost negotiations and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Performing and overseeing stock-taking responsibilities
  • Keeping accurate records, including receipts for all purchases
  • Handling other miscellaneous tasks as required
